kickbox's design philosophy is that a wrong 'deliverable' is far more expensive than an 'unknown', and the product follows that all the way through. it returns a sendex score alongside the verdict, flags accept-all domains explicitly, and — critically — does not bill you for unknown results.
that last policy changes the economics more than the headline price suggests. on a list with many catch-all corporate domains, the tools that charge for unknowns cost meaningfully more per usable answer than kickbox does.
