$19.20 for 10gb in europe is $1.92 a gigabyte, second only to ubigi among conventional providers, and $16.80 in the usa is likewise strong. it also names its network partners plainly — o2, vodafone, ee, telenor and vivacom in europe, at&t, verizon and t-mobile in the usa — which most rivals treat as confidential.
the unlimited plan is the problem. at $67.20 for 30 days it costs real money, and yesim publishes no gigabyte threshold and no throttled speed anywhere we looked. the europe page says most operators 'implement a daily usage limit' after which speed 'will be reduced, or throttled'; the usa page says speed 'may be limited in accordance with the network operator's fair usage policy'. neither is a number.
