Respond.io

transparent pricing, no message markup, real workflow tool-calling

$79 / month (starter)#teams-who-want-an-inbox#agent-tooling-without-pa

the clearest pricing of any saas option here — a flat plan, no markup on meta, and http requests inside workflows that give an agent real tool-calling.

respond.io states plainly that whatsapp fees are not included in the subscription and that meta bills you for usage. you top up whatsapp credit separately. that separation is exactly what makes a saas provider easy to evaluate, and most of this category refuses to do it.

ai agents are included from the growth tier at $159 a month. the advanced tier adds http requests inside workflows, which in practice means your agent can call your own apis mid-conversation — tool use, without dropping down to raw integration work.

we researched this category against vendors' own pricing pages and licence files. that is where this line comes from — not from the vendor, and not from anything they paid for.
