Linode (Akamai)
an official one-click with an actual setup wizard, documented by the vendor in june 2026.
matches digitalocean's price with an equally official one-click and a setup wizard on first login — it mostly loses on the strength of the nous co-branding it doesn't have.
akamai published a hermes quick-deploy app with its own marketplace docs in june 2026, and it deploys both the agent and the messaging gateway with a wizard that walks you through configuration on first root login. of every one-click on this list, it is the most thoroughly documented by the vendor itself.
pricing is identical to digitalocean at the 2 gb entry — $12, uniform globally, confirmed the same on the north america and europe price pages — with a trial credit for new accounts that expires unused rather than rolling over.
the description above is ours, condensed from the ranking. pricing moves — check it on the vendor's own page before you rely on it.
